A municipal police patrol car crashed into the wall of a residence on Vía Acueducto street in the El Pípila neighborhood following a police chase. According to witnesses, a nearby store in the El Pípila area was robbed, prompting a police pursuit to catch the suspects.
During the chase, the patrol car collided with a Ford pickup truck and subsequently lost control on Vía Acueducto, ultimately crashing into a home's wall. Unofficial reports indicate that the officer driving the patrol vehicle was injured and had to be transported to a hospital for medical attention.
