The Los Angeles Chargers got back on track with a victory over the New Orleans Saints, winning 26-8 at SoFi Stadium on Sunday as part of NFL Week 8.

In the opening of the second quarter, C. Dicker scored a 46-yard field goal, putting the Chargers up 3-2. With 1:37 left in the first half, J. Dubbins ran for a one-yard touchdown, extending the Chargers’ lead to 9-2. However, just five seconds before halftime, B. Grupe scored a 40-yard field goal for the Saints, making it 9-5.

In the third quarter, with 8:18 remaining, Justin Herbert threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to L. McConkey, pushing the Chargers’ lead to 16-5. With 1:05 left in the quarter, B. Grupe made a 43-yard field goal to bring the Saints within eight points.

In the fourth quarter, with 11:55 left, C. Dicker added a 29-yard field goal, giving the Chargers a 19-8 lead. With just 3:22 remaining, Herbert completed another pass to McConkey for a touchdown, followed by Dicker’s extra point, setting the final score at 26-8.

The Chargers' next game will be on Sunday, November 3, against the Cleveland Browns at 10:00 a.m. for NFL Week 9.
