They announce plans to simplify the "overly complex menu"

The new CEO of Starbucks, Brian Niccol, has announced plans to simplify the "overly complex menu" and review pricing in an effort to win back customers and halt the decline in sales, which have decreased by 7% between July and September. The situation is more critical in China, where sales fell by 14% due to economic challenges.

Niccol also noted that the chain is facing operational challenges, including staff shortages and congestion in stores. Additionally, the company is under scrutiny for its response to a union post in the U.S. that expressed solidarity with Palestine, which has sparked controversy and boycotts on social media.
