Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Announces Details for the XXIII Edition of the October Festival "Territories of Equality"

Last Wednesday, Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila announced details for the upcoming XXIII edition of the October Festival "Territories of Equality," which will feature presentations and activities across Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, Ensenada, Rosarito, San Felipe, and San Quintín.

Alma Delia Ábrego, head of the State Secretariat of Culture, provided insights into the events scheduled in Tijuana, including a performance by singer-songwriter Flor Amargo on October 26 at Avenida Revolución.

Additionally, renowned singer, songwriter, and activist Julieta Venegas, known for hits like "Andar conmigo" and "Limón y sal," will perform at Avenida Revolución alongside the Baja California Orchestra on November 8 in the city.

The state festival will also feature artists from Poland, Morocco, Brazil, and Mexico, presenting a diverse array of artistic performances including music, theater, dance, and circus, aimed at benefiting priority groups in the region.
