On another front, the Palestinian Red Crescent reports that five people lost their lives and three were injured due to an Israeli airstrike on its headquarters in Khan Younis, southern Gaza

In a twist of events, Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy director of Hamas, lost his life in an explosion that occurred in the group's office in Dahiyeh, a suburb in southern Beirut. It is reported that at least four people died in the incident, marking a significant blow to the organization.

Al-Arouri, who also served as the deputy head of Hamas's political office, was recognized for his deep involvement in military affairs. The explosion has left a significant void in the leadership structure of the Palestinian group.

On another front, the Palestinian Red Crescent reports that five people lost their lives and three were injured due to an Israeli airstrike on its headquarters in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. These events add to the intense clashes persisting in the region, despite Israel's announcement of a partial withdrawal of combat troops.

Hostilities have also escalated in various strategic areas. The Israeli army reports that they have eliminated dozens of Palestinian fighters in Jabalia, north of Gaza, and have carried out attacks in the city of Gaza and coastal areas. These events follow the Hamas militants' attack on Israel on October 7, resulting in the death of at least 1,200 people and the abduction of around 240 more.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza, led by Hamas, estimates that over 22,000 people have lost their lives in the territory since the beginning of the Israeli retaliation campaign.
