The 13-year-old girl has been found

The FBI has canceled an Amber Alert issued last Thursday for a 13-year-old girl reported missing in Brawley, California, following the successful discovery of the teenager.

On December 13, authorities issued an Amber Alert to locate Raine González, a 13-year-old girl last seen in Brawley, Imperial County. According to the FBI, the teenager was last seen leaving her apartment complex in the company of 44-year-old Lorenzo "Carlos" Guerrero. The FBI provided information indicating that Guerrero is suspected to be driving a silver Mercedes C230 with California license plate 5ZFS158, which belongs to the girl's family.

County jail records from San Diego show that federal agents arrested Guerrero on charges of theft and drugs in 2020 and for probation violation in 2022. Additionally, the man had been convicted in 1999 for importing over 240 pounds of marijuana through the Tecate border crossing and for escaping from a federal prison in Kern County in 2000.

Days after the search began, the FBI offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information on the case. Guerrero was described as a bald man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with black eyes, wearing a white Braves baseball jersey with the number 44 on the back, and dark blue jeans.

Fortunately, on Tuesday night, the teenager was found in good health, bringing the search to a successful conclusion.
