As a result of an injury suffered by a person on the roller coaster known as the Electric Eel, at SeaWorld, in San Diego, a little over a month ago, the administration and the Division of Occupational Safety and Health of the state, or Cal/OSHA would have decided close it, however the park reported that the attraction has reopened.

Through spokeswoman Tracy Spahr, it was announced that the game was open to the public once engineers and specialists from the County Security Division determined so. Although the injury suffered by the user was not initially detailed, the reports from the supervision department classified the incident as an ankle deformity.

Despite the fact that the cause of the injury was not mentioned, they did add that new security measures were implemented, this is because in the 5 years that it had been in operation, several incidents where passengers were injured were reported.

Among the new security measures implemented are: vehicle improvements, sound signals and warnings, changes in operating processes, as well as instructional videos.
