Prosecutor Gilberto Higuera Bernal has confirmed that the body of a woman found alongside a man inside an abandoned van near the former Covadonga factory in the state of Puebla, Mexico corresponds to Beatriz Calleja, a dancer from the Pinochos bar, who was reported missing since June 23rd.

The 23-year-old woman from Oaxaca fell victim to a violent incident at the bar, where an armed group entered and opened fire on the patrons, claiming the lives of five people, including three police officers, and injuring 11 others. Since then, Beatriz's family had reported her disappearance and sought help on social media to find her.

Recently, a TikTok video circulated in which Beatriz answers questions from an individual, admitting that she assisted in drug sales to a person known as "El Negro" at the Pinochos bar. She also mentioned gathering personal information about customers at both Pinochos and Noa Noa bars.

In response to this video, the Attorney General informed that Beatriz's family had already identified the body corresponding to one of the two found abandoned in the van in the Covadonga area. The investigation into this tragic event is ongoing.
